| yeah, seperate clothing is a bad idea on models like this - there's a reason you don't tend to have it in games :). I think all you need in the mesh is his jacket and a few polygons stretched between the back of his legs, then you could just do the rest in the texture - he'd look pretty awesome then... |

| well, I now have a .skn importer/exporter for 3ds max, if you've still got that. it's not quite as simple to use as i'd hoped it'd be :( but it works, and I could write up some instructions, if you're interested... | heh - I couldn't find an skn exporter for max so I'm writing one - still doesn't quite like me but i'm getting there :) I've played with milkshape but it gets really frustrating to use when you're used to something like max (besides, the character is already modelled in max). when i get it exported ... |

heh - that sounds like my parents. I don't get accused of pity mongering though, I just get told that I can't get along with people because I'm so cold and uncaring, and I have no right to be upset over that so get over it.
