People, it's okay. I've heard you can't be diagnosed until you're 18 too, but there's someone on WP with 'sociopathic tendencies'. Maybe that's what I have?
I'm just going to tell everything to the psychiatrist. Nice discussion this has been. Really. |

Well okay then. I don't have any motives to kill anyone now, and jail scares me some bit. I guess people are lucky there's such a thing as the law. |

and NEVER tell a professional you have thoughts like these, or thoughts to hurt yourself unless you want institutionalized against your will.
But isn't that telling the truth? Since I'm seeing a psychaitrist soon do I tell them everything or not? |

Well actually I think of it everyday. And I have plans about it. Oh, never thought about sociopathy. Though it wouldn't make a difference if I do get diagnosed with it, or have tendencies of it.
Thanks for sharing youe experiece. Horus. This is my politeness showing. |

| The psychologist pulled it out of me. Just curious, if it's not Aspergers than what is it? |

| So I'm getting tested for Aspergers, but when I told my psychologist about the bad thoughts in my head, she got super concerned and called my mother in to make an appointment with a psychiatrist. They both say it's not normal to want to kill people, and to say there's nothing wrong with that. I know... |

| My mother's pretty uptight about the dinner table( by the way, she really does call it holy) but she totally flips out during family gatherings. I have to greet all my uncles' and aunts' plus cousins and stand politely while they chatter about how "I've grown, ohh..". There was one time my aunt aske... |

But what kind of impairment? I have only one friend and my whole grade thinks I'm either ret*d or a snob. I have almost no knowledge on chit-chat and equally bad empathy.
Is that serious enough to be a social impairment? |

I know that I have to meet all the criteria in the manual to be considered for a diagnosis. I honestly do meet the criteria, but I'm not sure about the "clinically significant impairment in social functioning" part.
What does that mean? Could anyone give me examples? |

| Hey. So I may not have awesome advice to give like the guys before me, but I can give you my support. I know how you feel. I'm not sure if I'm Aspergers but it just fits so well, and I've got all these people pointing out my constant weirdness. My family and friends tell me I have no eye-contact, no... |

| Well I plan to bring it up the next time I go see my doc. The depersonalisation thing sounds scary though, never thought of that as an option, but thanks. |

| Okay, so sometimes I get these really overwhelming feelings of sadness and it's pretty bad that I thought I was actually depressed. I remember one time I was in my school assembly just standing with my class when this sadness started to creep up on me. I could feel it sort of, overpowering me and I ... |

Seeing music and smelling people's faces sound awesome.
One time I saw somebody rub their left arm, My right arm started tingling. I guess I have that mirror touch kind.
Even the mention of vaccinations and my arms start hurting. |
