I'm a whole ocean and continent away over hear near Seattle.
Welcome to WP. I might say, I've heard it is an aspie trait to have a "squeemish" pet. My friend Brian has a pet corn snake that usually makes NTs feel uncomfortable. I think that is part of the charm. |

I figured with a new month and all it was time to make some decision. Today is Sunday so I won't get a reaction until whatever next business day they decide to check their messages. I was interested in a clinic up in Seattle. I was thinking they might be able to evaluate me for a diagnosis. After ca... |

I didn't like how it was advertised as a romantic comedy. If they had been honest and advertised it as a drama that would have made better sense. I talked to a neurotypical woman friend of mine. She was interested in seeing it, and I said sure, go ahead. I don't think it is a bad film. My favorite a... |

Yes. I have this problem, too. I don't know what advice to give you, other than to tell you you're not alone. Is it because of our obsessive nature? |

I worked child care, then library, then pizza restaurant, then produce department, then dairy department. All that time I was not able to pass as normal...my co-workers knew I was dealing with some yet un-named mental health issue. I'm back to working library and I think I can be happy there. I'm ho... |

IMO, a twenty year old has better access to benefits like college financial aid. Also I heard that the diagnostic tests work better on a 20 yr old than a 40 year old. This is only my opinion based on what I've read and the thought process I have gone through wondering if I should pursuit a formal di... |

You're too young to panic yet. Yes, I'm sure you will find someone.
Are you going to college? When I went to college people bred like rabbits.
Work on being a nice guy, and develop your independant living skills so hopefully you can move out. |

Welcome to Wrong Planet. I am sending you my sincere best wishes. I don't have an answer for you, but in my opinion your age is to your advantage. I'm 40 and I'm deciding not to get evaluated. I think the process is better for 20 year olds. Also, please don't kill yourself. You seem like a good pers... |
