I'm not American so I can't comment on the sociopolitical context there but nobody is going to ban video games. It's a massive industry! Even if the big publishers like to avoid tax, they're all intertwined with the economic system, with trust funds and other shareholders... government is as likely ...

It's a good EXPERIENCE but I would absolutely not play it on anything harder than normal. As far as Platinum Games is concerned, I consider the game a disappointment, it lacks the depth of a real character action game or even what I would expect from a compromised RPG system. I'd say you're missing ...

I'm trying to play more games. I've been going through a period of not wanting to play many games! I just got through Final Fantasy VII for the manyth time. I need to play more classic JRPGs that I haven't played or finished, so I plan to go through Chrono Trigger and Dragon Quest V first of all. I'...

This is a game I have nostalgia for purely because I played it at a young age.

I have never played it since, and don't want to, but I still feel a strange warmness when I see this game being played.

Pokemon Pearl. I'm level grinding for the Elite Four. Kuraudo, I only just realised that your name is the Hepburn romanji for Cloud. KU RAU DO! I'm trying to learn Japanese atm which is how I noticed but, also, I'm replaying FF7. It's the first JRPG I ever played, so I have unending nostalgia for i...

Koudelka Created by a team of former Squaresoft guys. I've never completed it and have owned and traded it in countless times. But it's now a rare find. I haven't seen it about in years. Would love to get my hands on a copy to play again. Even though it is undoubtedly quite s**t. I knew someone who...

the stories are universally poor, ranging from unfulfilled potential to straight-up bad, but the gameplay has a unique appeal. You're welcome to your opinion but I'm not sure how anyone can consider mashing a single button in combat and "exploring" an empty world to be more appealing than...

Demo disk 42 from the Official Playstation Magazine UK. It had an extensive collection of Net Yaroze games. Mostly garbage, but there was some gems on there. My dad still plays one of the Breakout clones on that disk. I very much miss that era. We had a subscription to aforementioned magazine almost...

I've just been playing the Shadow of the Colossus remake. I played the PS2 original when it came out, but I was a dumb-as-hell teenager at the time and simply wrote it off because I didn't think it was fun to play. To be fair, I was right; it's not a fun game, or even a good game. That said, I'm now...

After finally figuring a way to get PS4 streaming to my handheld PC I've resumed playing Persona 5. The game really works better for me as a portable game. I'm at the end of November and I think it's nearing the end.

They NEED to release a Switch version. Playing anywhere else is tiring!

Hold on. Did you say that the gameplay is lackluster but the stories are awesome? I disagree. Tales games are good for exactly the opposite of that reason; the stories are universally poor, ranging from unfulfilled potential to straight-up bad, but the gameplay has a unique appeal. Tales of Graces i...

Nobody who matters really cares about console wars nonsense. I have a fairly powerful PC so that I can play the majority of multi-platform games in the ideal setting, and I have a PS4 and 3DS for games that are exclusive. Honestly, I think the PS4 Slim I own is an impressive piece of hardware with s...

More Persona 4 Golden. I beat Shadow Mitsuo yesterday. You did get a Vita and P4G then? It's such a perfect handheld game, Persona 5 is in dire need of a Switch port for that reason (I don't own a Switch but I would yesterday if P5 was on it!) I just finished Nioh: Complete Edition on PC. 54 hours ...

I wish I was cool enough to play D&D but alas, I can't tolerate being near people on a personal enough level to play pen-and-paper RPGs

I miss the girl I've been in a relationship with (and known for the last couple of years) and love a hell of a lot... well, long story short, she had emotional problems and lashed out at me a lot but she had reasons to that I won't go in to, and to put it generally, that behaviour made me react nega...
