One of me. I'm a 30-year-old fella from Lancashire, UK. I am interested in photography, books and reading, current affairs, travel, cooking (and eating!), real ale and cider, reading about homebrewing. My interest in music extends to many things although I like folk, pop, 1960s and 1970s music, cla...

I got really bored and played a few levels of Sonic Forces. Yeah, it's bad. I just had to confirm it. I'm the biggest apologise for boost gameplay and even I know this is bad. There are legit some parts that would fit in a good Sonic game, but they're so few and far between. Anyway, I bought Danganr...

A'ight thread, let's try this again! I'm a 29-year-old man from Merseyside, UK. Outwardly, I'm either playful or boring, depending on how much I like you. I have an overactive mind and people who are relatively slow make me feel tired. I'm currently trying to learn Japanese although, in truth, most ...

This.

Also I was playing Shogi lately via the Yakuza 0 minigame and I can't even beat the easiest AI level. Couldn't work out the correct approach. It's a fun variant though.

In that case, maybe all the lonely single Aspie guys should make a bigger effort to meet ladies on the spectrum. Just a thought. That is what I concluded at one point. The only real aspie dating site i've found is spectrumsingles. Unfortunately there are only two woman on it in my area and they bot...

I like watching just to see reactions to certain moments in games, or to see how they overcome challenges. They're generally good to gauge the human factor that games can induce, which is likely why they're so popular. I still watch Best Friends Play because they're self-proclaimed idiots and it's ...

The remake is fine, but I really like the oldschool MSX graphics and music in the original game. Making maps and taking notes would definitely help, it's really easy to get lost in those types of games. When I was little, my dad made a map of Legacy of the Wizard...I wonder if it's still around, I ...

Emulation can add widescreen to 3D games since it's merely a matter of changing the FOV. Whoo yeah that's not true, there are certainly widescreen hacks for emulators but those are absolutely not perfect and will introduce glitches, minor or not (for instance, many games are programmed to aggressiv...

La Mulana 2 is making me psychotic. That said I'm surprised at how far I've gotten with relatively few hints... I still haven't beaten the first game. I know they made a lot of the puzzles easier in the remake...I was playing it for a little while, and figured out some of the things I was stumped w...

Thanks for the thread necromancy because I just remembered that Super Hydlide was one of my favourite Mega Drive games, as a child. To be fair I'd never played another RPG and didn't until FF7, which completely blew me away because I assumed they were all like Super Hydlide.

La Mulana 2 is making me psychotic. That said I'm surprised at how far I've gotten with relatively few hints (mostly just stuff that was poorly hinted or that I overlooked in an earlier zone and would have wasted too much time to find). I'm gonna go back to the original remake afterwards. My first g...

Hello, Danielle~ I feel attracted to your attitude. You seem like you act in a positive way, and you want to improve the lives of people around you, but you're sometimes interpreted as mischievous or negative? Perhaps you're inquisitive. I understand that. It must stand in conflict when you're actua...

I just finished Chrono Trigger for the first time ever. I'm trying to catch up on some retro JRPGs that I'm told I should care about. Review of Chrono Trigger... the gameplay was honestly pretty boring. I appreciated the combo system, but the combat quickly boiled down to a few types of moves to bea...

Yoko Taro just really wants to be asked out by girls, he's cute and naive. It might be a character he's projecting but I don't really care, he's badass

Also comparing Nier: Automata to Spec Ops is violence against me IMO

I'm a Black Knight Great Axe

Why? I'm clunky, perhaps suboptimal, but also cool and strong~
