I have no idea. I love cute and childlike things but at the same time, I understand more adult things like politics and being responsible. I still wear t-shirts with logos but still know how to dress for a job.

I’m 27 btw.

I don’t. I’m an introvert anyway and have learned that every time you feel like something is going to be socially inappropriate, don’t do it or say it. I’m social but I need time alone to function.

Do these sound like body dysmorphia symptoms?

Fixation on one or two body parts (mine are my bust waist hip ratios)
Uneasy behavior around food (facial tics, dizziness)
Avoiding situations with food involved (grocery shopping and going out to eat)
Distorted views on body image.

I was diagnosed very young because I was stimming...a lot. I was diagnosed at five. When I started elementary school and started “growing out” of stimming, the autism traits weren’t even noticeable because I liked everything a “typical” young girl likes (dolls, cute things, boy bands etc...) Now at ...

I like loose fitting sweaters and tees but there’s a difference between loose and baggy. Loose fitting tops go better with my aesthetic.

It depends. I don’t like showing excessive cleavage and prefer a “youthful” look. If I were a “hot babe” I would be miserable! I prefer the sweet and cute look on myself.

I consider myself cute and attractive. I’m not hot or a bombshell by any means....nor do I want to be. I just enjoy my appearance for what it is.

Do you think there’s a connection between autism and overprotective parents? While occasionally my mom did have to say no to a few things (one of my ex boyfriends staying at the house overnight and going to school with my cleavage showing mainly) she wasn’t overprotective. Wow be careful. This type...

I had to get a Covid test done before I visit my mom. I don’t have any symptoms. I can breathe, smell, no chest pains and no fever and no one around me is has it as far as I know. I was told that all three of us (the people I live with including myself) by someone who lives with me (they aren’t a do...

Is the thicc body type photoshopped? I often see women on Instagram with G cups, really tiny waists and wide hips that have no stretch marks. I’m comfortable with my body despite being a size 16\18. I am wondering if the obsession with thicc body types and plastic surgery is dangerous for body image.

I think I dress pretty average. I care a lot about my makeup, skin and hair. I don’t really have sensory issues to clothes. I am a size 16/18 and I’m very knowledgeable about plus sized clothing. I was a size 16 in 8th grade btw.

I’ve noticed the word “edgy” a lot in this thread. I know from my experience, if I wanted to wear a slightly revealing Halloween costume people would say “that’s not you”. When I’ve cussed I’ve gotten told, “that’s a bad word!” while NTs can wear revealing Halloween costumes and cuss without being t...

I rarely eat Chinese food but I love boneless spare ribs and brown rice together.
