I use DEET as an effective bug spray. I've swatted a few mosquitoes recently when I haven't used DEET. I've now been applying DEET to my socks to ward off ticks. We now have lone star ticks. Good luck with the new jobs! I think it is important to watch how much work your fellow employees do and try to do about the same. I think the biggest mistake is to do too much work instead of too little. The boss may like that but not your fellow employees. If you need help, ask. But don't associat...

I moved away from a toxic family. Was married but she passed away decade ago.
I play golf and garden as hobbies. Lots of acquaintances but no close friends.
Could be worse. I retired two years ago and my investments have done well.

I've gone to Target and found it too busy as soon as I walked in the door, so I turned around and left to come back another day. I now wear high fidelity earplugs in noisy situations, like watching fireworks close ...

Now that I'm retired, I can get up at 5AM to be the first one off the tee to play a round of golf at 7AM in the morning.

It may be best that you weren't diagnosed so you don't end up in a government database being used for nefarious purposes. If you need an special help at work just ask for what you need. For example, it is common for workers to get special chairs as they sit around all day. There is a concept known a...
