Why don't you tell that exact thing to every social scientist. (You aren't a mathematician or physicist, by any chance?) I currently only have an Associate of Science in Math and Science, and I don't get paid to do either right now. However, I do have 153 credit hours, roughly 100 of which were tra...

Like brain scan, EEG or whatsoever. Why this information is not public? Otherwise there is absolutely no sense diagnosing aspergers if there is no 100% prove about it. There is only one discipline in which "proof" exists, and that is Mathematics. In science, there is no such thing as proof. What yo...

I tap, grind and clench my teeth. Badly too. I've done a ton of damage to my mouth. Up to 70% of the bone mass in my jaw is gone in places. I've broken 5 teeth in the last 4 years, and all of the ones I have left in my mouth have hairline cracks in the enamel. I only do it when I'm awake, and I don'...

I horse around (as in quasi-violent play) with a girl/woman at work every afternoon. Today, she snuck up from behind a car and pushed me. In retaliation I reached down to the ground, tore the head off of a dandelion and threw it at her-- just as she opened up her mouth to say something. The dandelio...

Read these two wiki articles:

Impulse

and

Specific Impulse

They're both about the classical version of the mechanics (no general relativity applied), but they're both the best place for you to start.

Speaking of world domination, have any of you come across the website for all your world domination supplies: http://www.villainsource.com/ I'm saving up for a subterranean island base with the volcanic upgrade, although I think $40,000,000 extra for an active one is a bit too much. Avast! bl...

He goes on to suggest that adults/teachers intervene to equalize the balance to some extent. But I wonder whether the root of the phenomenon might happen at this stage. I suspect HFA might operate the same way. This seems unlikely. Research into the subject has found neurological differences in tra...

This is an interesting question, and one that I feel I'm well suited to answer. In the last couple of months, I have come to accept the fact that I am transgendered (born a male), and am beginning to transition now. For me, it has nothing to do with how other people see me (I couldn't give less of a...

Wrong, the most efficient search/sort mechanism is a hash/key pair, which is O(1). Heapsort is O(nLog(n)) You can't sort in constant time. You can use a hash table for constant time lookup (assuming there are no collisions), but hashes are not useful for sorting. Edit: well there are bucket-...

Something for a voting system. Like: IF (submitted vote gets above: 70 and is highest}{ Show the highest scoring vote, then the second highest scoring vote thats above 70 (or random submission) } else{ Show any random submitted vote that scores below the highest } This problem seems to be a standar...

I noticed when I started estrogen I became more in touch with my emotions than I had been in my life, but I also had less control of them. I went from being SUPER laid back and nearly emotionless (except for depression, mostly about being trans and looking male) to being all over the charts. My emo...

OP asked "Why is homosexuality mistakenly associated with pedophilia?" and John Browning answered why. I don't see what else he could have posted to make himself more clear. Is it a crime now to explain why things are mistaken? You obviously aren't familiar with the anti-gay rhetoric that John Brow...

I've done the same thing, except I changed my gender to male to female. For precisely the same reason.
