I have a very simple problem with weed. My neighbours downstairs sell and smoke the stuff every day. It comes thru the air vents. It comes out their door and thru the hall and into my apartment, under the door. I can't open windows to air my place out because it is (or was) winter (40 below zero). A...

I think the perception depends on a lot of things. It depends on how a person was raised. On when/where/who they've seen the same thing on before - and how that person behaved or treated them. It is moderated by the clothes/makeup/etc that accompanies it. And so on. And of course, it depends how the...

Try using big flat wood spatulas to hold the meat. Use them like pinchers or tongs.
Don't use metal or hard plastic tools, because you will still "feel" the texture of the meat with metal or hard plastic.

I find using plastic gloves makes meat feel very slimy, even when it is not.

1. Why is the duty on you now? Where is "Mom'? 2. Is the fish still one piece (all the fins and head still on) or is it fixed into "fillets" (pieces ready to cook)? 3. What kind of fish is it? If you don't have the name, tell me what color it is. 4. Is the fish frozen or no? * Fish does not take lon...

1. Image: One fish, some big-ass seaweed, and a hammerhead shark. All thru a veil of fizzy blue water. All very close. Feeling: Peace. Safe. Afloat. 2. Image: Saw distant deer before I looked down. Maybe deer poop? Mouse (or something) hole under a raised root. Waving at me? Feeling: Peace, Curiosi...

I remember going to see the transformers movie, and the whole theatre collectively making happy noises with the big reveal of Optimus Prime. Sometimes it's fun to have the theatre-goers react all together. It's one thing you don't get watching them at home. But there's no excuse for talking OVER the...

I'm a landmarks person too.
So often I've been asked by passers by "where's this street" and I have no idea.
I ask them what building they want, and POOF, I know exactly what to tell them.

I've always had a good sense of direction - as long as I'm on foot and outside. As soon as I'm indoors (like a shopping mall) I find it much harder to orient myself, and figuring or remembering how to get somewhere requires a great deal of thought. More than once I've had to exit a building just to ...

the puff of air test checks the pressure of your eyeball if I recall correctly, and that can be important if you're in danger of glaucoma ? And there are other ways to do it but some are much more uncomfortable. So embrace the puff.

Suggestion - Don't try and stop the monologue if that comes across as an attack... try a more sinuous route and ask him to lower his volume... or to slow down because you can't follow him... or something like that that seems appropriate to you. Changing one aspect of the monologue (even if it's not ...

From what I've picked up reading things around here, you can't expect many shrinks to come up with the possibility of AS on their own. Especially in adult subjects.

You ask at one point for an ...alternate... title for your canoe/camping story... when there is no original title. You ask to put the story in order using just the letters / you used numbers not letters. Might also suggest to people that they open a word processor and copy the lines there in order t...
