The Japanese take them live on land and drag them behind cars on gravel roads for the pleasure of hearing them squeal in agony.

Do that because they blame the animals for hunting fish.

Thats beyond just having an insensitve turkey shoot for turkey meat. Thats anger.

...but they don’t believe you can convert people who are actually dead. They should become Mormons if they want to unlock that special ability. :nerdy: Well, the problem is that they insist that Mormonism is a cult just like Mormons insist that JWs are a cult. When the two groups run into each othe...

Flipper-love in the West predates US TV and goes back as far as the Greeks, if not to the Minoans. Porposes swimming alongside your ship was considered a good luck sign by sailors as far back the ancient Greeks. In contrast the Japanese have a long standing flipper hate. Texans have "rattlesna...

A) The Bible doesnt mention "Sumerians". I recall starting a thread on this very subject and if I remember correctly it was because I postulated that sumerians escaping invading armies who were the ancestors of the Babylonians/Assyrians/Persians, some travelled west. I suggest Abraham was...

B) Your DNA data, if anything, confirms that there must have been an ancestral Dravidian language. Correction ancestral tamil language. Dravidian does not exist. Why are you playing this sick game? What you're claiming is both with out evidence and is impossible. I could play word games too, and cl...

JWs do not follow the Book of Mormon . The groups appear more similar than they actually are due to their formal preaching methods. JWs believe 144,000 will go to Heaven while the rest of the good believers, presumably millions of them, will be resurrected on Earth. Yes. They are both equally heret...

I dont think that it was "banned" here in the states. It was just a "one hit wonder" hit that ran its course. Apparently the lyrics use "becoming Japanese" as a metaphor for ...being an outcast or something. So then I guess that it would technically be "racist".

Tamil is NOT "a linguist isolate" any more than English is. And no linguist claims that it is. Tamil is part of the Dravidian language family that covers the southern third of India. Its many cousins include Malayam, Telugu, Kannada, and Brahui. Other languages of neighboring provinces of...

"Even a man who is pure of heart, and says his prayers each night may find himself turning into a wolf, when the wolfbane blooms, and the Moon is full at night". It's kinda like that. When the Japanese cherry blossoms bloom here in Washington DC, and when the Moon is full at night, anyone ...

More importantly, what do linguists have to say about the development of the Tamil language? It's in the too hard basket. Linguists claim the language is an isolate (not related to any other language) but I am intrigued at the weird similarity between tamil and two other languages, Japane...
