Generally speaking I don't like being touched. I can make exceptions for people I know well and like (and trust). Which mostly means family members and close friends. My supervisor at work likes to use brief touches on the shoulder or upper arm as a gesture of reassurance or support, and it's taken ...

I've gotten a certain amount of success by always being pleasant and polite, and always maintaining a cheerful facade (even if I have to fake it). Where I work now, I have a rep for being the quiet type, but also for being the type of person who can always be asked to help out when it's needed. I'm ...

You Are An Atheist http://images.blogthings.com/areyouanatheistagnosticorabelieverquiz/atheist.jpg God? No thanks. You're not buying into any religion. They're all bunk to you. You rather focus on what you know is true. You may be a passive non-believer or a rabid atheist activist. But one thing is...

Your Score: Starting to glow You scored 6 soulful! You know that there is more to life than what you see. You probabably have tried some alternative spiritual practices. Some of them you found interesting but some you found a waste of time. Keep going though. You'll find the truth. Maybe you've jus...

Strangely enough (or maybe not so strangely), I completely understand what you're saying. When I am feeling angry or upset, I like listening to hardcore industrial like Rammstein. And when I am depressed, I like listening to depressing classical music. Tomaso Albinoni's "Adagio in G Minor" is pefect...

Since I was kid I was obsessed with drawing maps of imaginary countries, and also by reading Geographical and Historic atlases. ... So..does anyone else have similar experiences? Me. I have always had a thing for maps. Still do. Many years ago, I once wrote to all 10 provinces and all 50 states to g...
