Okay, Alla, we get it: you have a PhD. Your repetitive mention of the fact only makes you look insecure, and your refusal to believe that your PhD just means that you're good at what you study reveals that you're not half as smart you like to believe. But go on, keep using your doctorate as proof th... |

Most people age 40-55 grew up BEFORE Asperger's diagnosis in children was commonplace. I have had trouble finding a diagnosis, much less therapy. I have never had a romantic relationship. Unless you can say the same thing at my age you have NOT walked a mile in my shoes. I'm also sure that most Asp... |

$61,017 per person? It doesn't sound right. I would guess the average working person would earn something like $30,000/yr here.
OP probably lives in of those Republican-dominated areas though, where not even an income of $50,000/yr is considered good enough. |

I do see women dropping hints more than guys, that's definitely a trait that I can't stand. I am incredibly straight forward and blunt to the point it can lack tact sometimes. (At least in my body language, and flat voice) The only place I ever see women dropping hints and being misunderstood by me... |

The ones I've liked are in their teens, and it isn't hard to let go of them once I realized that.

They're still better than a breathing living human being who turns out to be so one-dimensional, though. |

A woman has only to be presentable, act decent, and show interest. Pretty sure that's the only thing required of a man, too. :? And actually, a woman is less likely to reject a man based on his appearance alone, so obviously men have it easier than women. Obviously. The man must bear the full brunt... |

Sure. Pretty ones...in bars.. I'd use the term "hot" instead of "pretty." Guys in bars want girls who are hot, and pretty girls aren't necessarily hot. The pretty-but-not-hot girls they'd put aside until they're ready for marriage under the assumption that these are the ones who'd be more faithful ... |

I don't think it, I just feel it.
My thinking is 100% negative, but when things are looking good they're looking good. |

Edit- I am a little shocked that Chronos can tell my income just from looking at my clothing. I make 12.00 an hour. People who wear scrubs make anything from $10/hr to $70,000/year--anyone who tries to guess how much you make based on the clothes you wear is just stupid. The thing is, Chronos didn'... |

You know, there's a difference between having a guy being interested in you as a person and having a guy thinking you're attractive enough to be worth his time. I can relate to you in the sense that I've never really had guys line up at my door begging me to go out with them, but I've never really c... |

I don't know what I would do since I can't picture myself in a similar situation, but you probably should break up with him. |
