I see. That would explain the flashes. Especially since the rapid flow / quickly changing shape of the water would give a lot of variance in the way we see the light.

Sometimes liquid has a way of amplifying a glow if you're viewing the sunlight hitting the surface at a certain angle. I sometimes see a "bloom" glow off the surface of snow if I'm standing in a certain position. Standing in a certain position? So you mean you have seen one of these things yourself...

that would make a whoe new kind of power grid possible. one where only the most intensive procceses would require external power. not taking hand held apliances and the like into accounts but with this process solar panel rooftops would also be exremely easy to manufacture. The only weird thing I have seen is this. Something seemingly orbiting our solar system was detected by NASA then the story eventually become a bit quiet. If the mapping of this object is correct then when it has lined up with us between itself and other planets it may have played a part in weather ...
