Hi Sarah, Get a copy of the Out-of Sync Child. It is the best for explaining sensory intergration. This can involve food issues, senstivity to light/sound, bathing, clothes issues etc. OT can help these issues. My daughter's (she's five) OTs now work on handwriting, balance, tying shoes using a knif...
