I've never met anyone in my life who could easily identify another person's feelings, and I have met A LOT of people. What kind of criteria is this? People misunderstand one another ALL THE TIME, as a result of incorrectly identifying someone's feelings, or not noticing the other person's feelings a...

Turned in an application and resume to somewhere I'd actually be alright working. Did a good job, I think. Also went in and bought a booklet of stamps in the post office, and asked for help finding something specific in the craft store without becoming nervous. Asking for help in a store is always v...

Mind in the Eyes: 32 -- getting an illustration degree has helped a lot, apparently! I still have trouble with expressions in real life, as they're happening, though.

One phrase I still haven't gotten is "My have the tables have turned." I know it's a figure of speech now but back then I didn't know that so I was confused. It means someone who originally had circumstances/factors in their favor don't anymore, and the "other person" who used to have the disadvant...

I think I come off as eccentric, so people usually just let me do my thing. I'm sure in the past, people have mentioned a lot of things that I do that are weird, but it's not usually been in a negative way. The only thing I can think of is that I've been told I wave really creepily when I say hello....

The only thing I can think about his how much easier it would be for me to make friends!
I don't usually notice that someone has any interest me until they are either trying to slobber on my face, or we were watching a movie and there is now a boner resting against my back.
SUPER awkward.

I conducted a "winter cleaning" of my entire room, and it's beautiful, immaculate, dust-free. :D I cooked myself a wonderful dinner from scratch and only slightly burned the blanched almonds. Lastly, went into Petsmart and purchased dog and cat food and had a conversation with the cashier! While I t...

I'm 25, and get asked what high school I go to a lot. D: It's so strange, too -- the last time I bothered to check my height was just over a year ago, I think. I was 5 ft. 2.5 in. I measured my height at a pumpkin patch right before Halloween just because, and it kept saying I was 5 ft. 4.5 in. So, ...

LOL I can't light lighters, either! I've figured out that for me, it's a probably a nerve problem. The combination of pressing down and pulling back actually tickles my hand, and I just can't do it. Kind of like I can't open a water bottle or anything for awhile after I first wake up because the pre...

I feel the EXACT same way. Even my own family does this to me. I get accused of interrupting and very occasionally I can see that yes, I was rude, and I apologise -- but often, I feel as though I were just joining in the conversation and I get cut off, told I'm being rude, and talked over. The probl...

I like having people around, actually, but I do hate having my personal space bubble invaded in a lot of instances. If it's someone I know well and am comfortable with, and there's a REASON, then I'm okay. But if someone stands really near me or keeps bumping into me when there's plenty of space for...

I make this dinosaur sound... haha
I do it to be funny, but it also makes me feel better, so I do it when I have extra energy.
Although I feel a bit weird about it now -- typing it out makes it sound really, really silly. Not going to get me to stop, though~~ lol

Same for me as everyone else here, lol. I've had many, many people ask if I'm high or just assume I am without asking. I get compliments on my eyes all of the time, and my brother always says he hates when I look at him and ask a favor because my eyes are so sad he can't say no (I use this to my adv...

No success. :[ I tried at least doodling the way I used to, while I waited for something online to load or while thinking about something else, but it's the same. leejosepho, I'm sorry you're going through the same thing too.
