I am getting sick and tired of your crap, CI. You are almost as bad, if not worse (considering you supposedly have an ASD and still act the way you do towards our community), than the campus aut$pks jerks who came to this talk and harassed Ari during the Q&A section of this speech. Rights moveme...

No one in America uses the term national security that way. National security is for issues of either international threats to the country or to internal issues with terrorism. You cannot redefine a well established concept and then berate people for being 'wrong' according to your redefinition when...

A choice that one person has a right to make can be a horrible thing if many people make it. Look at the skewed male to female ratio in China and parts of India due to sex selective abortion. ASAN has never called for limiting any woman's right to choose (and if they had, I would not align myself wi...

And of course a list of Aspies or potential Aspies includes: Steven Spielberg Bill Gates Richard Feynman Bertrand Russell As an aside, if you read There's Plenty of Room at the Bottom , Feynman's famous lecture which introduced the concept of nanotechnology, you'll find that he was probably facebli...

I am spending my winter break studying to be ready for the interview. I don't know why, but I'm feeling kind of pessimistic about my chances. I think it's a coping mechanism, because on an intellectual level I know that if they weren't pretty sure they wanted me, they wouldn't spend the money to fly...

A lot of normal parents, unrelated to and often even not aware of of the neurodiversity movement, left Aut$pks because they thought this video and the harrowing way it portrayed autism was horrible and unreasonable. It is not merely because of a thin skin or rose colored glasses that many people fin...

While it's not my cup of tea, "corrupt and depraved" is a rather normative judgement based in a particular set of sex-negative, if rather common, values. I don't do it because I don't want to, not because I'm judging others for it.

Isn't there some evidence that people on the spectrum are more likely than NTs to be LBGT? There is possibly an interesting intersection between the two identities about which discussion might flourish on its own forum.

What I was tying to say is that there are multiple types of success, and just because you are successful for some measure of success doesn't mean that you wouldn't benefit from help in other ways. This started with a statement that being successful and having aspie traits that need addressing are co...

Do you have any background knowledge in disability studies or the wider disability movement? I say this not as an accusation but as an honest question. Most disability studies textbooks will explain why most disability rights movements eschew 'person first' terminology. I've been brushing up on the ...

All is well and good if the gifted child is succeeding, is well adjusted and content. Denying the presence of Asperger's is only a problem if the child is having sufficient difficulties that it impedes their progress. In fact, if the child is doing well, then Asperger's is contraindicated. That's w...

Would it make you happy if I got someone on the board of directors to post here to re-emphasize the point that is already made on their website which I linked to, that they take no position on abortion? Because I could if that would shut you up and get you to stop spreading lies which I have already...

I just posted evidence ENTIRELY CONTRARY to this. You are going to have to back up your claims with more than "nuh-uh, yes it does".

No, it clearly is not, as you can see from my previous post. Please stop spreading rumor and misinformation, and please stop patronizing me.

Never mind. I proved my own point. My assessment was correct: while ASAN fights against eugenics, specifically in condemning the development of prenatal testing, they do not take a stance on abortion. I urge both private foundations and government research institutions to re-orient their funding awa...
