it may be that connections are important to us but the need gets suppressed from failed attempts. i mean, physical affection may not be a virtue, but love definitely is. for every person.

i interact emotionally and bond with "intense" music. "intensity" is subjective and exists in an array of emotions, and the most important factor is probably melody. no genre in particular, but emotional intensity inside of a complex, visual sound structure tends to grab me.

i think we experience it with less social/cultural influence, if that makes sense. basically, i think that we tend to be unaffected (to an extent) by cultural expectations and practices that take root in most people from childhood forward, so our out-look on the world might be more down-to-earth--w...
