i'm a big fan of the well placed elbow myself but then i am certainly on the larger end of women and so that makes sense to me. regarding the op i really thought that a ball shot would take down those not wearing a cup not so much because i was taught to do so, but i'd had a few "accidents" over the...

i have to comment that the "because they're unhealthy and are suffering from psychological problems that's why they're fat" argument is essentially guessing based on social/cultural beauty standards. many posters have already posted that skinny or normal doesn't equal healthy and i want to point out...

i don't remember who said it but i've found it to be true: the primary difference between people with tattoos and people without tattoos is that the people with tattoos don't care that the other group doesn't have them. i've been tattooed since i was 17 years old and pierced since i was 19. i feel t...

I don't think being an Aspie makes you more or less mothering. I think it may make it a little harder for us to be aware of that part of ourselves. I also think some of the misinformation about Asperger's--like how we're supposedly less empathetic or less emotional, both of which are resoundingly u...

yes and no but not for the more common reasons. the primary rationale would be that gay men have a well established fort in the feminine and aggressive territory and i very much relate to that. i don't do meek, or one-dimensional nurturing. i despise the color pink as shorthand for girls and women, ...

i met my husband online. i (nt girl) was an overachieving workaholic who didn't have the time to get out a great deal and he was relatively reclusive due to geography and social issues. i'm not sure how else we would've met considering.

teeth, for what it is, is pretty funny. the stepbrother situation near the end was distasteful to me, but i'd say it's a 2.5/5. i might watch it again many, many years from now. i don't know how many movies need to be made about vagina dentata, but i'm oddly pleased that this category is now represe...

i have a deep appreciation for this series. the concepts, the characters, and the plot are just leagues above most of the writing for this age group. it's not as entertaining as other popular series but i find the execution of this story to be near ideal. that being said, the amber spyglass is proba...

maybe it's because of common female social dynamics, but it actually doesn't surprise me at all that they are no longer friends.

This was a great movie. Intense is an understatement but it's a slice of demented teenage life that holds up well over time.

i've been in a ltr with an aspie that is now my spouse, and i have a few suggestions/comments. i think it's important to filter all of this through things that are specific to not just asperger's but you in particular. my partner spent a lot of time patiently explaining his quirks as they came up, a...
