| I've come to the realization that my son has been flushing whole rolls of toilet paper, cardboard tube and all. How he's not clogged the toilet doing this I don't know, I also don't know how I haven't heard all the flushing ... it seems like he's been achieving this with minimal flushing. Twice now ... |

| The same unrealistic rules are in my son's student handbook. He does things like that but he's also in a special class so hopefully there's some leniency there. I hope it never becomes an issue but worry that it will. |

| That's awful if they're trying to teach autistic kids in a mainstream way, trying to pound square pegs into round holes. Definitely not the best approach. |

| It definitely can help to use whatever he's already interested in to help him learn. When my son was 18 mos. to 3 years instead of babbling or using basic words he would talk in letters and numbers, like "A,B,2,7,R,6!"
