| I was thinking the other day about metaphors in films that are appropriate for my life with AS. OK so often it may be the case that a scene setting or entire movie is symbolic of something that has happened in my life that has very little in relation to Aspergers but having recently gone through a b... |

| I have plenty of experience with drunken NT people and its mostly unpleasent. They can start the night all quiet and innocent but i know that will change and sure enough by the end of the night they are loud, arguing, fighting, abusive..... They cant hear what you say, they demand music on loud, the... |

| I have had this problem many times, completely different places but otherwise the same problem of wanting to fit in and be a part of the crowd but knowing all the time that you have nothing or very little in common. I think one reason is that i am always of the belief that i only speak if i am spoke... |

| Yeah a lot of bigger supermarkets have them but i dont like them as i am consiouse of people watching me faffing about with the machine which i find confusing. | I dont know if this is to much like my last post but here goes.... Shops can be nightmares for most of us and i am no exception. But the way i look at it is how much, in a shop, i can stay anonamouse. By that i mean how much can i go in, browse, choose and buy with the least amount of interaction an... |

I think another aspect for me could be order. When i was at school i always liked order and control so that it reduced or eliminated interaction with other kids and thus the misery and bullieing.
I didnt give a damn what i was being taught just as long as it was a strict teacher that kept control. |

| Hi, I wondered if anyone else felt the same way about this..... Earlier in the year i went to a big concert in Hyde Park, London, to see Paul Mccartney. It was the 2010 Hard Rock Calling festival and he was headlining on the Sunday night. Now this was about 50,000 people and i am sure that many so c... |

| Irrespect of how you drive, the realisation of seeing a otherwise crowded place deserted is very enjoyable. Okay so i might have slipped over and hurt my ass and bruised my hand but hey if that stops people from rushing out and doing all thier wierd, pointless, meaningless activities then that makes... |

| I drive a taxi and have been driving on the ice and in the snow for many hours per several days this winter. I read the road ahead and adjust my speed. If i find i am driving on ice and i am driving too fast i dont use the breaks and slow down by using the clutch and gears. When driving on ice i go ... |

| Here in the UK we have been having quite a hard winter. Well we say hard but its just a bit of snow and ice, nothing major but enough to make everyone go off there heads panicking about how they are going to get to there social engagement. I have to drive full time for my job and I have struggled at... |
