Eliotraincloud. You are contemplating some big issues; the nature of reality, as is appropriate for your age. I say appropriate, not that many your age are actually doing this. I won't comment on metaphysics, because I'm too tired for that. I'm better with the small things of life. I suspect I have ... |

I cook all my own meals. I feel best when I follow The Zone diet - each meal is comprised of 30% protein, 30% fat, 40% carbs. It keeps my blood sugar on an even keel. Even though carbs are the highest percentage, it's still a low carb diet compared to most others. I have to cook my own due to financ... |

I've been in therapy during three different time periods of my life; each time with a different therapist. Only one was a man. And though he is old, overweight and bald I was tremendously attracted to him. We had a good theraputic relationship. My work with him resulted in tremendous relief from my... |

The problem is, this is not why I went to therapy. I wanted to fix some problems and now look at the position I am in. I wish I had never had this experience. As I said previously, I've been in therapy during three different time periods of my life. Each time, I ended up with something other than w... |

GreenTurtle GreenTurtle - isn't it just so harsh outdoors now? I like your idea of going to a warm place but that would involve big travel and maybe that's just too overwhelming right now. I had a 3hour layover in Philly recently. It's very nice (for an airport). I actually had a nice experience wit... |

If he takes offence at words, I think all you can do is remind him that some guys can never get a straight answer out of their wives. They might say "Oh, blue is nice", then be all cranky for years afterward because they expected their husband to read their mind and somehow magically realize that g... |

No, because exhibitionism of any kind is a turn off for me. So for me personally the phrase; hot male stripper is oxymoronic in a way, though I get your meaning [he's a good looking male stripper]. |

Lots of good replys, here already! My former husband is a novelist. This is what I've observed over my 30 years with him: He just writes. He writes practically every day. Numerous times he has swarn-off writing because it hasn't been lucretive to his standards. He can't stay away from it long and al... |

Hey RightGalaxy, your post resonated with me. I commend you for being able to stick it out in your workplace and provide for your family. StuartN! I agree. I am a professional designer and drawing is a part of of my skills. As a child I was interested in drawing but wasn't particularly good at it. My lack of ability was frustrating. In junior high, my drawings made a quantum leap. It occurred during a single session; as if something j... |

"Can anyone give me some advice, tactics or approaches on how I can help him come out of his shell a bit more?" There is significant buffer in online relationships of both time and space; as opposed to the face to face of live in relationships in real time. I fear your boyfriend moved in with you, s... |
