I didn't like it. If I had to listen to that continuously, I think it would slowly drive me crazy. It kind of hurt my ears, and sounded grate-y

Growing up, I had endless meltdowns because I was unable to understand and control my emotions, sensory input, and the world around. Often this led to violence, but only toward myself. It was VERY rare I ever did something to someone else, and when I did he asked for it (literally....my brother when...

You should have included a "never" option. I used to think about it all day, every day. Now I think about it never. I've changed a lot in the last 2 years, and that was a major change for me.

It's more normal for Aspergers to be undetectable prior to school age, but it is still always there from birth. Once parents know all of the characteristics they might remember a few quirks you had (or not...). I have classic autism, my parents KNEW there was something different, and I still didn't ...

White rice isn't bleached, just overly processed with the outer brown fibre removed.

I am definitely not as adventurous as you, but I am not as picky as some people ont he spectrum might be. I have my quirks, but overall I ate quite a variety of things.

Mom and Dad (or Mommy and Daddy). I would have gotten in trouble if I called them by their first names, but it never even occurred to me to do that anyway. They even call each other Mom and Dad, so that is all I heard anyway.

You didn't get Aspergers at age 12. If you have it, you had it ever since you were born, but may not have been DIAGNOSED until you were 12. Everyone on the spectrum is born with the condition. I can`t say that I ever feel like I don't know what reality is or not...I don't think that is an autistic q...
