As far as finding a mate, the AS guy has a more difficult time. It's hard to be a good "salesman" of yourself when you have low self-esteem and a high fear of rejection. The woman (AS or NT) simply has to sit back and choose a suitor. Once a relationship is established, the playing field changes. De...

I think it is more offensive that Ignatieff voted down the budget and brought down the government. These shenanigans make Canada look like a joke on the world stage. Every time there is an election, it costs the taxpayers ~$250 million. That money could have been spent on better things than an elect...

I've had one for a couple years sitting around. I finally got around to using it for a project. It's basic, but it will use the inputs from the gear lever sensor on an automatic transmission, and turn on a LED to indicate what position (park, reverse,...) the transmission is in. I know, it's a lot o...

I don't mind something small, discreet, that looks like somebody put some thought into. Large tattoos just seem a bit too over-the-top IMHO. Much of the nearly jail-looking tattoos I see disgust me. Would you scrawl on the Mona Lisa with a felt-tipped marker?

Rather non-specific, is this for the particular family unit one grew up in? or parental history in general? I was my father's fourth child, my mother's first, the only child in the house (none of the step-siblings under the same roof,) and my younger brother passed away at four months when I was ele...

Certain people tend to be overly dramatic due to brain chemistry. Dramatic emotional reactions tend to release dopamine. Yes, some people get high from there emotions, and if it feels good, they'll do it.

Met a fantastic, smart, beautiful girl through OKCupid. Went on one date, and then she said she wanted to stay friends. We still hangout occasionally. In the meantime she's gotten a BF. I just saw a picture of him, and he looks like friggin drug addict, with this addled smile I'd love to punch out....

I've been used in a few friendationships (You're led to think it's the start of a relationship, oh, okay, a friendship, huh, did I even know you???) You believe the person, then you get the little lies like "I'll call you later" and they never do. After the whole thing has tanked, you start wonderin...

YMBAAI: You can hear someone typing (quietly) all the way across the house when there is heavy metal music blaring less than five feet away. I can relate to this one, I can hear the slightest out of place sound in a room full of roaring machinery, but I can't sort out a conversation with more than ...
