Well, might as well... My gift is my musical talent (with the flute and the recorder) It makes me feel relaxed, but when I play in front of people, it's like I'm putting myself out for scrutiny, or letting down my mental guard, or something... I know it's my special talent that few can match I am ta... |

I'm 14 and I go through waves of being completely addicted followed my mild addiction and the cycle goes round and round... For instance, I was completely obsessed with Pokemon Pearl for months, playing at every single opportunity, and now I only play it for about 2 hours a day, preferring instead t... |

I've know I was different from a very early age- about 3 ish. When kids at pre-school (which, incidentally, I loved) started calling me weird. When they called me names, I couldn't cope and had a shutdown. I played with dolls and toy animals, but I just collected them and lined them up and put them ... |

I've been practically in love with Pokemon since I was 6. (that was 10 years ago lol). Pearl- Luxray, Emploeon, Rapidash, Staravia, Pikachu and Palkia. (Level 100 all of them). (I did have a shiny Roserade, but it's attack was so pathetic that I put it in storage). Pearl is my favourite out of all t... |

Oh god, I can come up with the weirdest things to totally blow people's minds :L My stepdad: "If you don't tidy your room today I'm going to smack you silly and ground you forever (Jokingly... I think :L) Then I replied- "Well, I'm going hack your limbs off, feed them to the dog and then make the do... |

I'm not too sure about that one, but I'd say it was stimming. (Only because I do it, too!) I have bitten my nails constantly since I can remember. I need to always have something in my mouth, whether it be a bit of nail, a pen or a Nintendo DS stylus. I bite my nails until they bleed and have not be... |

I'm a cross between types 2 and 3. Meltdowns will happen on a bad day. Ein example of a bad day: Today I had a little mini-meltdown. On the bus home from school (I hate it anyway) I had to sit next a year 6, instead of my usual spot next to my friend, due to limited spaces on the bus. Well, I was ta... |

I am able to knuckle down, (a new phrase I have learned and love using!! ) and collect incredible amounts of information on the weirdest things. Not a day goes bay when I don't contemplate the awesomeness of Pokemon type match-ups, or the field of string theory, a recent interest of mine. I ju... |

I'm shy in my own way. I won't hide behind my mum when meeting any new person (lol!). I will just put on an act and attempt to mask the fact that I am feeling a little shy. Usually, if I can avoid it, I will not ever have the first word when talking to someone. I am usually in the presence of my clo... |

I'm not sure... My music teachers are usually astounded at the rate at which I learn instruments and techniques on them. I got up to grade 8 standard on one of my instruments in less than two years, (I'm 14 now), and there seems so be nothing I can't do technically. However, I am frequently told tha... |

I've found, from only personal experience with myself and other aspies I know, that people with AS DO have a sense of humour. Just a dry sense of humour. I use a lot of pessimistic sarcasm, even though I can't identify when someone else is using it. Aspies do find things funny, just different things... |

I've tried to visit several of my many old obsessions, such as Collecting gemstones, Nintendogs, Rock music, Sailor Moon, Hamtaro, animals, Fruits Basket (manga), etc. But none of them really have the same 'buzz' for me anymore, except maybe nintendogs. No, I love Pokemon now :) I would say Asperger... |

As soon as I found out what it is, I suspected I may have it. Though throughout my school life so far, I have hovered between sets three and one, (there were four sets, fourth being the lowest). I managed to stay out of the lower sets and in the higher ones through intense copying. I copied most wor... |

Hi, I'm 14 and an undiagnosed girl. A warm welcome to Wrong Planet! My mum has only just agreed to contact the GP to get a referral to a unit to assess me, however I have been sure I have it for well over a year now. She's just in denial :L Good luck to you if you happen to seek a diagnosis, ... |
