... But it seems to me that you don't gel with some members of this forum - certain types of harder edged male Aspie. Moderators have a chat about that issue? One of the key qualities of being a moderator is keeping your personal opinions of members and their posts distinct from applying the site r...

Lots of stuff made sense. The feelings were fleeting but the understanding has remained for years. When I was in love with a girl I recognised the feeling as very similar to being on MDMA with my friends, which was a helpful pointer that things were going the right way.

I mostly feel very safe here except when I'm talking about some of my experiences and I know one moderator has personal objections to my point of view - which isn't trolling, it's just my point of view. I would welcome discussion about my points of view, even people openly calling me an idiot I coul...

They have no magical ability not to be abusive themselves. And neither does the owner - so what was your point again? :? The owner is the owner, he can turn off the servers and nothing can be done. You obviously think you're better than other members. That sounds like the basis for an abusive syste...

Won't work now. That's really bad that it ever worked. I was doing stuff like that on badly designed websites in the 90s. When did Microsoft buy it? Hmm... 97. That's terrible.

We are all here as guests of the moderators, and if you want to have a pleasant experience here, it is best to think of the mods as the hosts of a party who will do whatever it takes to keep the party fun for the rules-abiding guests I disagree. We are here as guests of the owner. Moderators are or...

Okay, but in instances where a member feels they are being abused and would LIKE it to made public, for their own protection, that option should be available. Don't you think? So maybe not post official warnings by default but allow the users to post them without having to ask permission as you nor...

Sounds dodgy but maybe she's just kind of slu*ty. If you assume it's the latter then you lose nothing and maybe get laid. Neither trust nor distrust.

May I suggest a new guideline: that official warnings CAN be posted publicly without prior agreement by the issuing moderator. This would improve transparency and fight abuse. What do you all think? I think that you don't seem to be thinking this through. What would be the point of posting warnings...

All you would have to do is post official warnings in a sticky thread. Simple. I don't care about the behind-the-scenes discussion, that's your business.

Can I post the pm? I would do it in another thread so as not to derail this one.
