Firstly, well done for considering this. It's very important in today's web This is a useful resource Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Important things are keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility. No one watches slideshows, they are pointless. There are much better ways to... |

Every day there is a post on r/aspergirls on Reddit. You are absolutely not alone. It's the subtle nuances of female interaction that make it difficult. I tend to make friends with women who are really into music or some other hobby and we bond over the hobby rather than whatever women normally bond... |

Out of the 2 I went to see Barbie. And I loved it. I played with Barbie dolls as a kid in the 80s and when I saw that the logo was in the 80s font, I knew this film was for me. As a single aspie woman I really liked the controversial end. Some of us need to find out own destiny and we don't fit the ... |

Checkbox, I relate to what you are describing. I'm very process driven and maybe not fluid enough in relationships with other people. I think I've mellowed as I got older, but when I was younger I was very like, this should happen then this and then this. I actually build business processes for a li... |

Hmm, yes, a lot of the American politics is so important to understanding comments on the internet these days and the motivations behind what people post. That's part of why I feel like an outsider. On Reddit too.
This whole Boomer Milllenial divide thing doesn't seem as large in the UK either. |

I find that a lot of the spaces I visit online are populated by Americans and I can't relate to a lot of their issues. It's part of the reason I don't visit this forum very often. Your culture is just so different to what I experience over here.
Any other Brits on here? |

Reading a lot of autistic women's experiences with their mothers makes me appreciate how easy going mine was/is. She's not a girly girl, so she wasn't disappointed that I couldn't/wouldn't participate in girly things. She didn't push me to be stereotypical female and I feel like I don't have the han... |

Every-so-often I dream that I'm getting married. Someone is helping me with my dress and I'm thinking, I have no idea who the groom is. All through getting ready I have no idea who it is. I arrive in a room full of people and I wake up. Oh that's not always true, in the last dream my Dad did a jig w... |

I used to work with a guy who had never learned to drive. He had a wife and a child. He has no plans on driving and his wife drives him to work. So yes, some women don't mind that. We are in the UK though and the public transport system here is pretty good compared to the USA, so I'm looking at this... |

I think I was a bit overconfident when I was younger and that was a bit scary and offputting. I was too direct and upfront too soon because I'm just a very matter-of-fact person. I was thinking about this the other day and I also don't take suggestions very well if the other person is basing their s... |
