Yes, I was bullied and tormented a lot in school, by both boys and girls. It made the schools I was in a hostile environment, which definitely interfered in the learning process. By the time I finished high school, I'd had more than enough, and chose not to go on to any sort of college or vocational...

I decided when I was 8 years old, that I never wanted to get married, or have a boy friend, or have kids. I was on my way home from school at the time. That was more than 5 decades ago, and I never changed my mind. I have always been satisfied with that decision. Besides not wanting any of that, I h...

It's really very simple, no gas--no go. If your sister really hates the smell of gas enough to let her car run out of it, she either needs to trade it in for an electric car, or electric motor cycle, or switch to riding a bicycle. Hey, those come in electric models, too!

First off, get tested for allergies. Second, get checked for toxic substances, fungus, bacterial infections, mites, body lice, etc. Third, use moisturizing creams and ointments. The ones with menthol are good for fighting itchiness. I keep hair brushes in almost every room in my apartment. It works ...

I talk to myself a lot, and sing or hum. The talking helps me to jog my lousy memory, and to organize my thoughts. I live alone, so it doesn't bother anyone at home. When running errands I sometimes talk to myself about the errand, like what I am looking for in a store aisle, or that the door to the...

When I was a kid and into my teens I was sometimes uncomfortable doing stuff on my own, but there was never anyone to do stuff with, so I got used to doing stuff by myself. I'd go to parks, restaurants, movies, etc., all by myself, and I am still that way, except now I need someone to take me places...

Been off the site for probably almost a year, maybe even longer. Had a lot of stuff going on. Actually, there always seems to be a lot going on. Anyway, late last year I put my name in for a govt subsidized handicapped apartment in a nice place. Regular subsidized apartments have a waiting time of 1...

I've already posted several times about my move and the new apartment. Been here about a week & a half now. I really like the apartment. Although it's smaller than the trailer I had been living in, there were enough furnishings that I didn't want to bring with me, that I left behind for the rela...

Well, the move started on New Year's Day (Tuesday), but I had relatives moving me, so it took a couple of days, and I wasn't able to move myself there till Wednesday. Although the new place is smaller than the old place, the rooms are big, as it's handicapped accessible, so it needs to have room for...

Yes, I have a CPAP to help with my sleep apnea. The docs didn't like the poor results, so they added an oxygen concentrator to the mix, so that gets hooked into the CPAP, providing me with more oxygen when I sleep. Got to admit, I'm not good about using the CPAP machine. Because all of my health iss...

This is sort of an add-on to a post I made just a little while ago tonight, about an upcoming move to a new apartment. I currently live in a trailer, but this week I'm moving to an apartment. I've lived that way before, and know that you can sometimes hear the neighbors, and sometimes they can hear ...

I posted about an upcoming move last week, and am updating things now. My head is in a whirl. I was just at the manager's office Monday for the second time to finish filling out the paperwork for my new apartment. I had sold my old car to a relative to cover the security deposit. Due to health issue...

Because I am always busy with my interests, chores, and with dealing with my health issues, I can rarely manage to squeeze in time to visit WP and go thru all the forums of interest to me. Today I managed to do that, and now that I'm done going thru the forums I am posting about an upcoming move. I'...

You are under no obligation to maintain contact with people who drive you crazy. If she comes to your home don't open the door. Don't respond to her emails and don't send her emails, except one to tell her that you are permanently discontinuing all contact with her. Instead, have them go into the sp...
