I used to have flashbacks. I then occasionally would depersonalize from stress, but only for an hour or so every now and then. Recently, I was severely ill for a month, while dealing with returning depression and a very hurtful end of an intimate friendship. Two weeks ago I went into a severe detach...

Honestly I don't feel much better after showering now, just less ashamed. I realized it feels like an attack. I find my breath catching when the water hits me, even though that used to only happen if I was suddenly in cold water. Now it's like an assault by water.

I don't want to post my picture on something so public, but it's really nice to see what other people look like! Makes you all a little more real to me, and not just figments of the interwebs :)

I love my VivoSmart! It's a round 150 if you get it without the HR strap, and it's very sleek looking (especially on small wrists)!

After being hit pretty hard by a return of depression and a severe illness that left me basically bedridden for three weeks, I showered an hour ago! Only the second time in three weeks, oops. I mean, when the sadness came back, I found myself putting showers off for two or three days, but since I go...

For years I've wanted to be evaluated for ASD, and we believe my father might have it also. I have a lot of signs and symptoms that point to it, but the reason I first ever read about ASD was by looking up why a TV character (and I) so often repeated words after I said them as a child. I made a cons...

Well, I'm not looking for "butterflies" love at first sight junk. Just, to be interested in someone romantically again. And yes, I suspect that I fall somewhere on the asexual spectrum, but never would I expect myself to be aromantic (until now, that is). The thing is, I want romance, wher...

Just this morning, I was buying a filled long john doughnut from a gas station. The cashier couldn't see the doughnut in the paper bag, so she asked, "Does the doughnut have a hole?" (as in, is it a ring shape) "Yes! ..... Wait, no." Because, long johns do have a hole....where th...

Remarkably similar to a lot of us. Makes me love the story of Matilda even more.

update: we accidentally had a second date anyway. it was a group outing, and everyone else cancelled at the last second. I was calm and a bit chattier because I've pretty much abandoned any interest in him, but he was really nervous. He also kept using distinctly platonic terms, like "bro"...

-Being able to talk about their opinions openly when not prompted, almost as though they are fact. I don't like to make firm statements about things (that was a bad movie, he's a mean person, the best option is this...) because I know I will never understand all sides of a situation. So, why should ...
