What exactly is the difference between an autistic savant & an autistic person who's simply intellectually gifted? I'm kinda unclear as to what the difference is. Well, I think it's been said before that most people like to do these things (cartoons, zoos, etc). Perhaps it's just that if you're missing some social cues, you don't realize it's wrong and therefore broadcast it a bit more? Just a guess. Erm.... Don't realize it's wrong??? Why would it be wrong ... |

It just seems really confusing. The National autistic society says the triad of impairments is difficulty with the following: Social Interaction Communication Social imagination Social imagination means the ability to empathies & put yourself in someone else's shoes doesn't it? Congrats OP :D they recall every meal they have ever eaten with perfect clarity....everything that they have ever said "word for word"...everything they have ever read...every song they have ever heard....with 100% accuracy That is weird, I can't imagine that. I have very, very good long ... |
