I guess maybe since we don't get on with humans so well, we bond with our instruments?

I think there are natural differences and levels in emotions between people and I don't think its a good or bad/right or wrong thing. I do think it helps friendships/relationships to either be on a similiar level or to be able to tolerate & understand one another. It may not be automatic and re...

I am sure he misses you while he's in the shop. i am not a musician, but do understand the talking to objects thing, common with some aspies, as i sometimes talk to my door hardware (not in public!) and some do have names, ...

Your friends aren't responsible for your emotions and they're not supposed to be at your beck and call. They're there to supplement what you do to attend to your own needs when they have the time and energy, and they may be trying to keep up with online conversations while they're dealing with more...

I talk to my violin all the time. Right now, he's in the shop and I keep saying, "Please come home!" When I play him, it's like I'm giving him a hug.

I know there have to be other musicians who do this.

I do not think, that the average Aspie wants to act as a control freak. But in many posts and threads I found tendencies, that see woman like a thing. My english is bad, so I dont mean it in the bad way like "You are a thing." but this typical Aspie way to find general rules and orders for every si...

I've always been very thin and people always ask me how. I eat a lot of rice and vegetables and not much meat or fried foods. Unlike many Asians, I don't even eat fish (I hate it). I also eat less than almost every adult I know. Even though I have chronic pain, I am constantly moving around, even if...

I'm intersex but I have breasts. When I was young, my mother tried to force me into being a girl. It was hard for me because I don't have a typical girl's body; it's kind of in between. So everyone thought I was a "late bloomer" and I was made fun of a lot. I used to hate my body and want more woman...

There are some people that constantly need attention and make mountains out of molehills. Then they go to everyone they know, whine whine whine, and get angry when no one wants to take part in their pity-party. These people seem addicted to drama and a victim mentality. That's what I'm specifically ...

I get so overwhelmed by emotional people. Don't get me wrong, I have many emotions of my own but I don't drown other people in them. It seems as though most people's actions and decisions are constantly driven by emotion. I get so tired of it and it really wears me down to where I want to run away. ...
