I have the opposite problem. I harbor guilt about fairly mundane things I've done that harmed someone for years to come. Gosh that's impressive! I have feelings of guilt every so often about a few things that I've done which I know I will always feel guilty about but not usually for general outburs...

I think that what happens is the brain stores all the unpleasant memories in the same place so when you access one memory all the others in the same 'bad memories' filing cabinet start coming into your mind as well if you're not careful. You have to quickly close the cabinet and distract yourself to...

I've not received outright abuse for being percieved as possibly gay (I'm not) but I've overheard people calling me gay/lesbian or questioning my gender. Also I seem to attract men as partners who are in some way conflicted in their sexuality - either in the closet or have issues around their sexual...

I know the feeling. It's like being in a state of waiting for the next obsession to come along. Then I'll research it to death online and possibly buy books on it and feel really happy while doing so but then I reach saturation point with it and the interest wanes and I'm left feeling a bit desponda...

I think it's a phrase that becomes meaningless as you can mean it one day and not the next so it only really holds for that particular moment when said. It's also just another way of saying 'You are valuable to me' which could be seen as selfish ie you are saying what you think will enable you to ho...

I have a 'Hitlist' of people in the media who I feel should be executed for the damage they've done to society but it's only a jokey thing.

Why shouldn't I brag about it? I am damn sure not ashmed of it (anymore). Normality is highly overrated and boring, plus lots of people brag about not being those things all the time. I'm too 'weird' to be admitted to the social circles of people who affect weirdness. They are attention-seekers and...

I don't see what all the fuss is about shopping either. I think a lot depends on how image-focused and social a person is. I do practically all my clothes shopping online now and only when they have a sale - M&S and Debenhams usually and Clarkes for shoes. I don't see shopping IRL as a fun activ...

I think there's an NT-ized Asperger culture ie we're all meant to be trainspotters and maths geniuses and like Star Trek, Star Wars, Dr Who and gaming. This stereotype is fostered by both sides though. Most of the apies I've come across do like Star Wars and gaming so it's not just a fake stereotype...

I'm too 'weird' to be admitted to the social circles of people who affect weirdness. They are attention-seekers and invariably incredibly annoying. It's conformism pretending to be individuality/quirkiness. Anyone who plays up their quirkiness irritates the hell out of me - they are effectively tell...

I harbour a lot of resentment and I think it it due to over-analysis and ruminating about bad situations with people. The more you ruminate the more it becomes fixed in your mind. I think that many people with Asperger's Syndrome do get victimized and the extent of a person's ability to put things i...

I defnitely get it but I'd say it's more a case of puttng together all the available information about the person ie their facial expressions, the way they talk about things and what they talk about. I see it as a person's 'threat level' and a lot of people instantly set off my threat alert and make...
