My partner unfortunately has an extreme obsession with MLP: Friendship is Magic, and it's damaging our relationship. I used to think the show was great, but I'm of a different opinion now.

Sorry.

It might make your relationship a little more interesting by roleplaying as MLP characters in bed. Or you could encourage him to write a MLP fanfiction with an original character based on you. You dont have to let his obsession ruin your relationship. Just remember this...they're not real! *smile* ...

I'd like to thank all of you for your feedback and your support even though I'm new to the forums and you don't know me. I needed friends and you were there. Thank you. In a nutshell, what I've gleaned from your responses is that this is NOT a typical Asperger's response, and this frees me up to act...

I don't often get surprised these days but Bronies is a new one on me http://www.wired.com/underwire/2011/06/bronies-my-little-ponys/ said New Mexico brony Allen. “As a person with Asperger syndrome, I learned more about theory of mind, friendships and social interactions from this season than I ha...

I have to ask but is your fiancée a 'Furry'? Have you tired to see as weather you can join his obsession as well? I am not forcing you to go pony crazy but rather if it something you can explore together and see if you like it as much as he does. Try to open up to him that you are willing to go on ...

One of the points it gave was that the cheating partner must cut off all contact with the person they cheated with, so he must give up his pony thing. I think you may be right here. For all my understanding and bending into various pretzel shapes to be accommodating, I have to admit that I can't sh...

Thank you for all the honest opinions so far. From what I'm understanding here, this is NOT a typical AS obsession we're talking about here but rather the guy is simply being inconsiderate and a selfish ass. Chalking his behaviour up to Asperger's Syndrome is an insult to other AS suffers. Am I unde...

Hey all I need some feedback, please. I'm NT and engaged to a wonderful AS man (self-diagnosed the beginning of this year). Everything we've learned about AS has helped our relationship come back from the brink of disaster since we've got more of an understanding about AS and obsessions. His obsessi...

I think I'll need to get a tail.
