I do not believe that a supernatural relgious deity exists now or has ever existed, but I will keep an open mind for future evidence, so that makes me an agnostic. I was raised Roman Catholic and I took part in the sacraments up to confirmation, but I never believed. My moral/ethical and spiritual v...

The 1st Amendment is Freedom of Religion not freedom from religion. Governor Perry has just as much right to publicly show his faith, as any other American. There are 2 relgious freedom clauses of the First Amendment. There is the Free Exercise Clause and the Establishment Clause. The Free Exercise...

Rick Perry and Bachmann are both nuts and they will never get the vote. Christian conservatives are afraid of Rommney's Mormon beliefs and if they ever understood Romenycare they would divorce him from the GOP because it is vitirually identical to Obamacare, but his healthcare plan covers abortion. ...

Ive been to the Adult Forum a few times and I have no interest in sharing my current hell with that forum that should be renamed Jerry Springer/Maury for Aspies. There are 2 forums, Adult (as in sex), and In-Depth Adult, which might be what you're looking for. The names are confusingly similar, but...

@typing-with-mittens: The In-Depth Adult Life Discussion subforum here is specifically for the older-than-30 set, but there are plenty of people here in the other subforums who are also over 30. If you start your own thread here in the Haven, people will almost certainly respond to it (they might n...

Most of this Aspie forum seems geared to kids and the adult forum is unnaturally focused on sexual fetishes. I came to this forum for a sense of community and support but I doubt that I will stay long because its either Romper Room for teenagers and Jerry Springer/Maury in the adults forum. I also l...

Id write a long reply but it would be ignored like everything else that I have written on this site. It appears that this site is for those Aspies under 30, so I should find another Asperger friendly site for adults were not diagnosed until much later in life. I cannot work because of depression and...

Why is it that I can open a thread and navigate individual pages of a thread with a single mouse click, but to go back to the main forum from a particular page requires a double click of the mouse? I use many other sides with vBulletin software and this is the only site where I experience that probl...

I started drinking coffee in HS but it was very sweet and a lot of cream. I worked nights on the weekends in college and it wasn't unusual to drink 2 pots of coffee. By the time I had graduated college I had transitioned to 1 pot of black coffee per day, with occasionally enough cream to turn it a o...

Algebra was my downfall. I could do geometry and Trig, but algebra was 45 minutes of hell per day. I slept though science and history courses and got As. I didn't do well in grammar courses but I survived literature, even if I didn't read the books.

You must be able to prove that it will stand and withstand the dead and live loads required. There are hundreds of great jobs of you enjoy doing FEA, and it makes it ea...
