There's an easy answer to your question my friend. Low function Autism can be a very unpleasant thing and high functioning forms of Autism can be a very unpleasant thing. It puts strain on the parents and the children and leaves the parents with "damaged merchandise" so to speak. Parents don't like ...

It may well be just that history of violence, possibly in addition to the diagnosis of mental disability: Army psychologists wouldn't be as lenient on "because you were bullied" as you were for yourself. And the connection between ten years ago and now is that you're the same person, older. Armed S...

I can't help but feel that this was a question I was born to answer what with my being a seventeen year old male aspie and all. It's very true that change can be hard for someone with AS. I can certainly see how all those massive changes might have left him feeling a little sore. It's also true that...

It seems to me that three things are going on here. The parents of this child seem to be acting in a suspicious manner. It makes you wonder if they're fit to have a child when they lie about his age and send him on a plane without supervision. The child seems to have some other issues than just Aspe...

If you're going to age discriminate and assume that all people under the age of 18 will be immature little brats, then you're going to have a very difficult time finding anyone to play with. However, not all people under 18 are immature. There are some very mature 15-17 year olds.

I'm going to lay it out to you here and if I sound rude while doing so, so be it. There really is no way for we, as the users of Wrong Planet, to actually determine if you have any sort of mental disorder or disease or anything like that. (For those who are surely going to respond that Autism is not...

I would agree with you completely that the drug might be causing the shortness of breath. I did get exercise during the summer, it simply was not to the level that it is when we do fitness in PE. My main concern however is the pains.

I must sound like a hypochondriac for writing this, but here we go. I am seventeen years of age, 200 pounds, 5 feet 11 inches tall, and I have hypertension that is being treated with 7 milligrams of lisinopril taken once daily. I first discovered the hypertension when I complained to my doctor of ch...

I'm actually rather surprised that he even wants to attend a school dance. I would imagine that an event like that would be a living hell for a child on the spectrum what with all the loud music and people chattering in your ear and people shoving themselves up against you like you're an inconsequen...

Please note that this is not a self hate post and I'm not going to go on about how I wish I were dead. I do however have a problem. I'm more than a little worried that I might be a psychopath. *Insert uproarious laughter* I know it sounds predictable, but I do have my reasons for believing it. The m...
