Homeowner's associations are like government, the people who know how to manipulate them get what they want from them. Getting angry or retribution generally will bring down their wrath, but, working within the rules, making alliances and partnerships can be, effective. Maybe get a bunch of people w... |

Hi...
I wish I could do calendar calculations. I do have a bit of a fixation on knowing how long it's been since major things have happened in my life.
I.e it's been 9 months, 10 days since I discovered AS
It's been 2 years, 6 months, 5 days since I bought my house
Cheers! |

I seem to remember a place on the Internet that you could get a host file replacement. Essentially breaking all the ad companies ads FYI... A Host file resides in your windows/system32/drives/etc folder (if your using windows) and items in this file get their DNS resolved before the regular method, ... |

I have an ISP/IT Services business, and in the 10 years we have been doing internet connections, we had 1 DDOS attack. It was against a client's IP, and we blocked it at our Gigabit internet connection, and it was no longer an issue. I couldn't be bothered to try and alert ISPs, its futile. Dilberts... |

I know what you mean about mimicking normalcy... I do it too. I'm 34, and I was bullied mostly in middle school, which is where I really started to do this. I don't think I got really good at it until end of high school Interesting subject because its been on my mind over the last month or two, and ... |

I took a typing course in high school...it was just brutal... It was massively boring, and I don't learn stuff I find boring. I found that I learned to touch type by learning to type by looking at my fingers, then doing that enough to develop the muscle memory until I didn't have to look. Learn the ... |

You Act Like You Are 19 Years Old You are a teenager at heart. You don't quite feel like a grown up yet, but you don't feel like a kid. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world. You're quite rebellious, and you don't like being told what to do. You like to do thin... |

I did a role-based-assessment at our office... The results were that I was an Aspie... I had read the wikipedia page at least 3 times befor that, and never clued in. The results of the test made me dig deeper. That was about 4 months ago, i've been obsessively researching ever since. |

9s and 3s are my numbers. I group things in 3s and 9s when memorizing or listing. They just seem comfortable in many ways.
If you like numbers, you should read Daniel Tammet's book... The way he sees numbers is really interesting. |

Ah... Linux console... what a wonderful tool... and it seems so hard to find people who know how to use it. I believe the best way to learn the console (or anything else) is to immerse yourself in it. That's how I learned... many hours of obsessively messing with the systems. Man pages are wonderful... |
