Kissing someone I really like can make me feel like I disappear. Or stop in time. It's hard to explain but apparently the feeling is normal for the situation. Is this what you mean?

There are a lot of weight training exercises you can do with just your own body weight. Don't get stuck waiting for the perfect equipment. Google a workout regimen without weights.

This is so very very petty. I finally find a kind and generous and all-around terrific guy who isn't already taken and who laughs at my jokes and makes me laugh in return, but he also has a mother a lot like mine. I've spent the last 20 years distancing myself from my own mentally ill mother who mak...

This is the one situation where the cost/benefit of being yourself is skewed in favor of totally-a-benefit. So be yourself because they don't know you and you are probably totally great. And some digital person not liking you at first blush is not hard to get over. But also be interested in what the...

I think I might have done something wrong with the guy I've been seeing. I'm not exactly sure what it was but he's being kind of short with me in texts today, which... gah! Stupid texting! It's so ripe for misunderstandings! Okay, so maybe it's my imagination, but I miss those cues so easily and I r...

I've tended to date fairly non-alpha guys for the last... 20 odd years or so, who might fall under the category of "non-standard masculinity". They've all been great guys and they have all the same hangups and ego issues that their more alpha brothers have but with one key difference. If we get jump...

I would start by making YOUR feelings known first, making it safe for them to answer truthfully! "I think you're a great guy I'd like to know you better / spend more time with you. How about you?" It'll now be safe for them to say they reciprocate... and if they don't, chances are they don't feel t...

What was different about me was that I had to explicitly think about what other people were thinking, like solving a math problem. I didn't automatically take it into account. I'm like that too. Me too. I was reading Sherlock Holmes stories and realised I could try to work out people's intentions a...

Meh. Feelings don't just turn off because you want them to or because you've reasoned through why they "shouldn't" exist. Or because you've "processed". (my absolute least favorite buzzword) You feel what you feel until you don't anymore. Currently, I'm battling a crush on a married coworker. It's ...
