To babies? No, and never have. I decided a long time ago that being a parent wasn't for me.
To pets? Absolutely! I have a lot of maternal instincts towards my pets! I would think a lot of us that are childless have maternal instincts towards our pets, don't you think? ![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif) |

Just wondering? I've been working for a medical transcription company based out of Australia and I absolutely love it and compared to a majority of US transcription companies, their pay is off the charts even with the exchange rate for those of us overseas! I also worked for a company in the US for ... |

LOVE: Country, rock (especially 80s female rock), pop and Christian. LIKE: Jazz, bluegrass, folk, standards, broadway, R&B/soul and some Latin. HATE: Heavy metal, grunge, screamo, emo, bubblegum teen pop, rap/hip-hop and blues. Am I the only Aspie on here that actually loves country music? |

You can. Really. Why do you think you can't? Are they physically holding you down and stopping you from making music? What do you care more about: your dreams, or the fact that they might disapprove? They'll get over it eventually. Be a success, then you can say "I told you so". Hopefully once they... |

Why do you need your parents support to pursue music? Just do it anyway. You'll never survive in any business where your personal work is on show if you're going to be paralysed by lack of approval from anyone. Because its always easier to pursue your dreams when you have parental support. I just d... |

Okay, so as many of you know, I am desperate to make music my career because its what I love to do and NOT for the fame and money. The problem is I really don't feel I have the support from anyone in my immediate family and that's what's really holding me back. My parents say all they want in life i... |

Actually would have to disagree about inspirational speaker. I think us Aspies can make great inspirational and motivational speakers. |

Yes! Singing is my way of communicating with people. I would love to make it into my profession but unfortunately, in a world where style seems to be dominated over substance, it seems impossible. |

I'm pretty sure I have it. I can not only tell what note is being played, but also what musical key a song is in. But I do also have very good relative pitch. I have read that absolute pitch does seem to be common in those with autism and also in those who are visually impaired. I am a singer, but ... |

I never really thought of either instrument as being gender-related. I think an equal number of guys and girls play both piano and guitar. I can definitely see why a lot of people think the harp is a girly instrument. I've rarely seen men play it. I definitely agree that guitars are more popular bec... |
