Thank you for your input everyone. There doesn't seem to be a consensus, but it look s like it is probably an Aspie thing. It's practically a fifty/fifty split. I would suspected that with NTs it would lean more toward the former than the later.

I guess I didn't draw a complete picture. I do have my own concept, but it varies widely from what the general public finds attractive. Actually it's more like I find almost all people attractive in their own way. The only reason I care about physical beauty at all is because of what other people wo...

When I was in fifth grade I was in a private school. The school did a dance with another school and a couple of girls asked me to dance. I never was in a situation like this before, so I asked the other boys that I went to school with which one was prettier. They told me which one they thought was p...

This is the list of confirmed; I skipped the mathematicians and scientists because those are the things that are expected of us. I'm looking for the things that are not steriotypical. Courtney Love Heather Kuzmich Adam Young Ladyhawke Clay Marzo Temple Gradin Aaron Ducker Come on, I know that there...

Nope, but that kind of thing. The FMLA mandates unpaid, job-protected leave for up to 12 weeks a year: to care for a new child, whether for the birth of a son or daughter, or for the adoption or placement of a child in foster care; to care for a seriously ill family member (spouse, son, daughter, or...

I'm sorry, I forget that there are people from other countries here sometimes. Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) I'm just wondering if there are any forms of government assistance or protection, not that I need it, just because if something enters my mind I can't let it go until I have an answer.

I work most things out aloud. The worst thing is I repeat conversations that I had with people over and over. I try to work out how I could have handled the conversation better (because like the rest of us, I'm very socially awkward). Sometimes I don't realize I'm doing it and mutter to myself right...

If this is accurate, I don't think that I am. Hyperlexia Symptoms The severity, frequency, and grouping of the following symptoms will determine an actual diagnosis • A precocious ability to read words far above what would be expected at a child’s age • Child may appear gifted in some areas and extr...

Okay, so the list so far is: Heather Kuzmich Adam Young Ladyhawke Clay Marzo Temple Gradin Courtney Love Aaron Ducker Gary Numan Paddy Considine I moved Courtney Love down on the list because everyone is right. I know, but I'm looking for confirmed cases only. If you want to give me names, I'll do my best to confirm them, but the Pokemon guy is a definite "No." One of the sites that had him listed as a "Yes" received a letter from his company asking them to remove it from his biography because it isn't true.

There are a lot of sites that claim this. I'd give you some examples, but I don't have the time at the moment. Just google "Courtney Love autism." You'll get pleanty of hits.

It drives me crazy that people are embarrassed by it, but I understand. It is not fun having to try to explain everything to everyone.
