What can really mess up your head is when you realise that all of your perceptions are chemical reactions in your head. So you start to do and say things that you want, rather than what you think others want to hear. No idea which category of person I fall into, whether NT or ASD, but I can give you...

I just read my inbox and saw the invite, I might pop along. I'm in need of some rest - life's been pretty hectic recently, but I'll see how I feel on sunday.

Take Care all.

I personally feel that joy is the fuel and the goal. I get up in the morning because I can do things that make me happy and my goal in life is to be happy.

I'll be there.

If the organiser wants to pm their mobile number to the people who are confirmed, that would be a good idea in-case other people run late and need help find each other.

Take care.

When I'm feeling blue, I tend to grab a book and sit under a tree in a park. The weather here in the UK is perfect for this sort of thing. If only I was still a student :-( Having only weekends free is annoying. If you're finding it difficult to get people to do things with you, why don't you just g...

I was reading my journal and found some nice quotes that sometimes cheer me up a little. Maybe someone could add their own inspirational quotes / logical thinking to this thread :-) o "Every passing moment is another chance to turn it all around" - Vanilla Sky o "of course you're alright, you're ali...

Anytime outside of work. Work is nice and controlled, people mostly say and do things with some degree of predictability. I went though a phase at high school when I was about 12years old and made some friends. The ones who haven't moved away - I am still in contact with (read that as 2 people). The...

I used to be very ashamed of my voice. At school I would get made fun of because it was very high pitched. I get mistaken for my dad on the phone all the time....the thing is, my dad sounds like a normal man. You know, deep manly voice. Anyway, so I'm now 24 years old, and last month, a work colleag...

Never listened to music as such until I was about 16. It started with Indie (alternative but mellow) music, progressed to Ska and Rock. Now mostly Rock / Punk Rock / Pop Punk.

There's nothing quite like a bit of Alkaline Trio at 5am in the morning on the drive to work :-)

I've always had problems learning by myself. I'm not sure if it is lack of motivation or procrastination. I simply listened to teachers / lecturers and didn't spend too much time on self study - not even revising for exams. Books are just too hard for me to follow - I have to concentrate too hard fo...
