I love someone who is aspie, but my aspie-ness got in the way before I realized I was aspie. Now that I understand what it is, I know why it didn't work. Both of us had on our "NT" faces with each other. When the meltdowns came (not at the same time) from holding it for too long, we thought that it ...

Sarah Honey, Do your parents know how you feel? Does anyone else? You need to tell someone you trust. If you hold this inside, you will not be able to see it for what it is. Can you see the beauty that awaits you when you get past this? There will be you know. Life has a way of balancing out everyth...

What made you think you did something wrong? It sounds like you both had a good time together. It doesn't have to be all conversation. Just being in someone's arms can be enough.

Havng only recently been diagnosed with AS, I have realized why I am attracted to men who are "unusual". It is because I like myself. I know I am unusual and prefer a man who is because I like this. I can relate better to someone who has the similar social phobias and unusual analytical focuses. The...

Your Aspie score: 139 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 76 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

I have no idea what this means. Do I need to see a doctor? IS there something I can do about it?

I have this need to share everything with whomever is around me. I get so random sometimes and then kick myself. Sometimes it is just too much. I get "that is TMI" all the time. Even my own son, who is 22, doesn't want me to talk to his friends. He gets irritated that his freinds like talking to me....

One of the things I have learned from being suicidal is that there is a natural balance to life. You can't have the good without the bad. At some time in the past have you been extremely happy or non-stressed? That is the mental comparison your mind is making for this stressful time. If you can just...

I noticed that no one answered your post . Since your post was in May, I am curious as to what you did to overcome this. If you still would like some advice or whatever.

I know what you are going through. Except I realize that he tried to care but couldn't. It was just not in him. He is an aspie too. He was the one who showed me why I have felt so different all these years. Lately I have just been calling myself a nerd. I had fallen in Love with him and never told h...

Hi Soulreapersenna , I am not in your age bracket but I am from Salem, not too far from you. I was wondering the same thing. I see a lot of people from other countries here. I would love to hold an aspies meetup someday at my home if we can find enough people. Although I know how crowds affect us. I...
