If she is very religious, and you are not, then this will cause problems in the future. This sex issue is only the tip of the iceberg. You will eventually have completely different goals of life and different views on the world. Unless you manage to never discuss these things, these can cause seriou...

I'm not 24, and I've never stated I'm 24, or am I making a mistake? I know someone else also mentioned me being 24, but I didn't really get that point either.

When I play a computer game Quakelive, you regularly get served advertisements for very, very, very awkward datingsites. Some seemed even racist. I guess the advertisers think QuakeLive is full of awkward lonely people. They might be right.

I have tried some dating sites. It can be very frustrating. I think many women see dating sites in a different way than men. I think women either use it to only find the ultimate best man they could ever get in touch with (like a Marlboro man 2.0), or they just like to read the messages they receive...

I would advise you not to fret, because at age 24, a large percentage of relationships that are currently in place will not last. Her current commitment to her boyfriend may be genuine (and wouldn't you want that quality in a prospective girlfriend, to be loyal to her boyfriend regardless of other ...

There are practically no Dutch people on this forum, and the Dutch language forum makes little sense. Alternative Dutch forums do not really offer much for 'dating' so this side of the internet is unproductive for me. But if I would meet a very special person I would definitely consider it.

Thanks for the replies. The main thing was to get it out of my head, that succeeded pretty well. Today I feel fine. I do usually choose a girl on a more rational level, before I really fall for her. This works best for me. If the rational basics are good I think the relation has more chances in gene...

I'm not a person that is going to like any girl that he meets. Now I've gotten to know this girl who is pretty much perfect to what I find important, and we have a decent conversation now and then too. I think I only meet a girl like this once every ten years, or even less. She is vegetarian like me...

Personally I have given up on dating-sites. I have the idea that the one thing that is important on a dating-site is your photo. We could make an experiment, to write a perfect profile text and add horrible photos to it, while having another profile with a horrible text with supermodel photos. I'm p...

I notice that I basically never get any reply to my messages, while I do my best to make them not too short, nor too long, but nice messages.

Maybe it is because of my photo? I don't really have a super good photo of myself on the computer.

That situation you're in sucks. And I had the same years ago. When you get refused by women you will get close to giving up on them, which can feel very depressive and can make you feel angry as well. Especially the feeling that there seems to be no source where you can find a girl that would like y...

Hello all, I'm wondering what you think about a standard situation. I play computer games online, and I met a girl there that got my attention. It's currently not more than that, but I would be interested to at least get to know her a littlebit better. We meet in the game's friendslist, or on an IRC...

Ok, I'm giving in, and post something about myself... I'm from Amsterdam, The Netherlands and I'm 30 years old. I'm interested in a lot of things, such as history, science stuff, computers, games... yes nerdy stuff. I'm not focused on a single thing, but several different things. I'm quite high func...

I feel the behavior of people on dating sites is changing. I remember 10 years ago, I would go to a chatroom and talk with people, also girls, getting to know some, and still having contact with some of those people after a decade. It was really nice, it worked, lots of people met eachother from the...

I always do research on people I get to know. There simply are people that are not to be trusted, and I actually think being an aspie attracts those people even more. Those people can feel your weaknesses and exploit them in a cunning way. I also think business people and companies usually do resear...

Thanks for the reply. It's not like she will lock me up there literally. I don't know. I have the idea whenever I speak with her, she has spent months thinking ahead about that conversation and being prepared for anything I say. For all problems I may have with doing what she asks she already has so...
