of these forms are normed in age groups, so that questions that don't apply to your age are accounted for since most people with children the same age would answer the question the same way. |

The underlying determination when I was a teacher seemed to be whether the child was learning the same objectives at the same level. Your state should have an objective list for every high school course. The way it is taught and the number of problems or amount of work done should have no determinat... |

I'm so sorry. That is horrible. Unfortunately, I don't know what you would do for a next step in the UK. Is there any options other than CAMHS? She sounds absolutely behind the times. |

I would never have thought of it, but my husband swore it would work. At the ages of 6 ( daughter) and 5 (son), my husband announced we were going to take the training wheels off. He took both bikes, kids, and his doubting wife to a local park with lots of grass and a small hill. He had them fall on... |

I thought this was a pretty cool invention. I would buy it if my kids were still little.

An antihistamine can also be very helpful, like Benadryl. |

this type of fear often works like a phobia, and as for how to push and how much, do a search for systematic desensitization. It works on social phobias as well. |

My question for you, can I wait until then, which is in two weeks, or do I need to do something immediately? I'm beginning to think that intensive therapy for S1 will not be enough, and that he may need to go in-patient, at least for a little while. But of course, I'm scared of the possible long-te... |

For counseling to work well, trust is important, so whatever you do, don't lie or trick her into going. Don't ask if she wants to go, especially if it is not an option. If the counselor is experienced as you say, he/she will know how to provided information and reassurance to make the process work. ... |

Here is what I mean about Texas though. It is horrible and these are just the deaths. It does not include all the children who survived.

There is also a book, What to do When Your Brain Gets Stuck, that is very good for helping children with this kind of thought process problem. |

I am such a routine driven person that I could imagine this happening to me, so when my kids were little, I made it part of my routine to open the back door and look at their car seats after I got to work, just in case I ever forgot. It worked well for me, just like checking the door to be sure it i... |

Lots and lots of kids not on the spectrum have an issue with water on the face. Some people get over it and some people don't. I enjoy swimming but I still have to sort of 'force' myself into the pool every time. Yeah. This. It seems like if it's on "my" terms it's ok. Same with my daughter. Thing ... |
