| Yeah... I find I tend to shut down as well when faced with big problems.. When I'm shut down, I just want to be alone, or do things that have no relation whatsoever to the problem, and become tied up in the activities.. Then I tend to do that all day, and then something comes back to bring me back t... |

| Have you read the book by Tobias Churton, "The Gnostics" ? The guy made a BBC series that was aired back hmm... at least 15 years ago I'd say. I've never seen it in its entirety, but there are some extracts on YouTube. Some part are a bit cheesy, but you can't find it anywhere because the message in... |

| Interesting, but one small factor is not addressed by the "experiment." They should have asked the kids if they even wanted a second one before they left them alone. When I was that age, I distinctly remember I never, ever wanted more than one marshmallow at a time. Isn't it possible that at least ... |

I cannot defend that, I don't know him personally but "The allegory of the Cave" got me thinking and appreciate things in a new light. |

| Very very touchy, sad and taboo subject - yet it is important to realize that gender is not important in a case of child abuse. While I think that it's great that there is some awareness being made about the fact that women are also capable of horrible acts like men do, I would have liked to see mor... |

| This book is about spirituality, and some people may agree or disagree with it. The author does not try to convince anyone of what he says. What he talks about has been talked about by many different cultures all around the world. This book deals on so many subjects, from reincarnation, to karma, to... |

hmmm.... yeah same here.. I actually don't like cream much.. The feeling is not the best, and I'm not sure why or if it has to do with anything. But I'm learning.
I prefer lotion or oil. Jojoba oil seems to work fine for me. |

I wished I could choose more than 1.
Chose physics in the end. It just explains a lot of things... but then so does math. |

| No way, it should not be made mandatory. There is so many ethical issues about this, I would not know where to begin.. But yeah we could start at looking at a patient that is very sick, yet has some organs that work. And since that person is "most likely" to die from their sickness then the organs s... |

And I was faced with either religion or no religion to explain it. Always believe this or believe in nothing. But yeah, what I find so striking like the author of th... |
