My anxiety is getting out of control again and I need to go back to the doctor next week and get something for it, as I can't cope with it anymore. Can anyone recommend meds that have been helpful for them? I have been on Zoloft and Xanax in the past, and the doctor did prescribe me Efexor last time...

 Mel's marriage is annulled ... by his own dad Friday, July 31, 2009 No wonder Mel Gibson is giving the thumbs-up. Full time has been called on his 28-year marriage to Robyn Moore. The Pope didn't give the order, though. That edict came from Mel's 90-year-old father Hutton Gibson, and it paves...

Thanks for your answers guys. I have a cooler that my laptop sits on with three fans, as we are in a hot climate, and the laptop would just switch off if it got too hot, very annoying when you are in the middle of something! Pakled, I did have a look at what you mentioned and the memory is at about ...

I have a couple of questions involving computers, and I was hoping someone who has a better idea than me can tell me what is going on. :? First question is about my daughters laptop. It is only one year old, but it has crashed and had to be restored to factory settings. She has done this but now it ...

I got the book for my birthday from my sister who is obsessed. I read it to be polite, but found the writing weak and the story-line predictable. My 12 year old daughter is enjoying it 'tho. I have no inclination to see the movie. oh and by the by, I think the lead actor is ugly and creepy, so I don...

You sound like a wonderfully talented person. You have been through so much and you are in so much pain. But please, do not think you are alone, you are not. There are so many people here that have been through similar things as you, and believe me, felt the depression, loneliness and sense of 'what...

When people describe Asperger's Syndrome, empathy and caring aren't usually part of the breakdown. Sorry to say it, but it's true. The Aspies I've come across are antisocial, uncaring, narcisistic. Some are even sociopathic, whch is frightening. Ugh. Once upon a time being a female wasn't in the br...

I know I can feel empathy, and I know my AS son does too. But to show compassion feels fake and phony to me for some reason. I work in the health profession where caring and compassion is important. I do my job well, but if a situation arises, lets say, that a baby has died for example, I have a fri...

Yes we do care. We just have trouble letting others know it; We have trouble expressing it. Although, I might now empathize as much as others, it still hits me.

I agree.
I think it is more about the ability to show it.
It is like the myth that Aspies don't have feelings.

psychotic_jester seems the best informed person to have contributed to the thread so far, and the point about partial seizures is a good one. I also think that is worth checking. I agree. :) I think the epilepsy is something we will need to get checked out further. I just did not associate it with ...
