I have always found skipping with a rope the hardest both as a kid and now. I just gave up in the end. I am just amazed that most 5 year old girls can do it so effortlessly. Yes, I too tend to use the British standard of spelling when I can and I am aware of the British spelling. I deplore the dumbing-down of language. I too often refer to places as it is pronounced in said area. For example, I often refer to Japan as Nippon, Florence and Florenza, Germany as Deutschlan...
