I was looking something up and there was an ad for a "aspergers parent resource guide". I read the description and it seemed to have a very negative view of us, describing us as the cause of great distress in our parents and friends, and basically acting like our existence was nothing but a problem.... |

Let's say a complete stranger keeps walking up to you in school, you don't know their name, don't share any classes and have never spoken to them except these encounters, and tells you on a daily basis that you talk too much, are very annoying, are worthless etc. Are they simply being mean for the s... |

My psychiatrist has recently been trying to make me take anti-aggression meds, because lately I've been very unhappy (grandmother is dying, he knows it). He said that the two are very often linked and this I probably have aggression issues... As far as I know, and I've asked close family and a few f... |

what would be a socially acceptable outlet to be able to share information on a very odd special interest? I feel like I need to (not sure how to phrase this concept) vent, release the data... i don't know the correct words for this. Basically my interests are very far beyond the norm and tend to de... |

When someone asks why your interested in a special interest, can you explain to them why? If so what is the explanation? If you can't, do you understand why you have the interest yourself? I have been asked why i care so much about my topics of interest and i find it extremely challenging. How do yo... |

My special interests tend to really bother other people, no one really wants to hear long lectures about cerebral palsy, conjoined twins, spina bifida, gientism, dwarfism, Ocd or the collection of other conditions i care about. It tends to either depress them or gross them out. I've been trying to f... |

Cerebral palsy is mainly a physical disability, although it often is combined with other conditions as well. In Brian's case, cerebral palsy causes extreme lack of control of muscil movement, in the form of slow writhing motions and sudden jerky movements, or combinations of the two. Spastisity of s... |

I tend to drive within a range of 5 miles below to 5 above with the exact posted speed limit. This entire range seems to annoy other drivers, so im wondering what rule for speed nts use when driving. what is appropriate speed, what speed is one expected to drive at, as it seems fairly clear that the... |

but still remain true to myself? I tend to get deeply interested in medical conditions. Most highschoolers find my topics of reading and so on quite disturbing, and i believe that if i can manage to reduce its obviousness in the new school i am attending i could save myself a ton of pain. I ask because my special interest is conjoined twins, and i have found that even quite recently (relatively speaking) they have been treated as o... |
