Hey, I've heard that lucid dreaming is a really cool way for people to resolve tension and frustration in there waking lives. I'm not sure whether my brother actually has them or not yet, but he sure describes some weird dreams every so often. I found a great site about how to lucid dream here: htt...

IQ tests do work in the way they're meant to, but yeah, people can use them in the wrong way, like the whole men vs women thing  ... But I personally, rate wisdom over intelligence. I'd rather have a friend that could tell me something useful, thoughtful, and helpful, than a friend who could ...

I've had a lot of Lucid Dreams, 'cos I tend to get really bad dreams, I'm controlling myself, yeah, but I always dream that someone's being horrible to me, or trying to kill me... And sometimes I'm yelling in my dream "Wake up wake up wake up!" and then I get woken up by the sound of my own voice in...

I've always liked Sunflowers and Daffodils the most, they make me feel remotely cheerful for a short amount of time...
But, not wanting to be known as the forum b****, but how come this has ended up in the Autism discussion section, and not the random discussion section?... |

Welcome to WrongPlanet SamW. This place has been better therapy for me than anything in my life. I wish the same for you. PS, take your thyroid replacement therapy every day and it helps a lot. ( I have that too) Merle I do take the thyroid tablets, thankfully. The summer I had before I was diagnos...

I wouldn't recommend anti-depressants, you're obviously an intellectual, as you worry a lot about things, and people who ain't as smart just don't tend to worry so much (ignorance is bliss), and it would be a shame to waste your life by living in an anti-depressant fluffy cloud, if you see what I m...

Then again, I've been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder (manic depression) as well, but I refused to take the tablets, so strangely enough, I guess that might be why. I have a feeling I might be bipololar. What were your symptoms. Someone told me that one of the symptoms is that you feel good about ...

I know that this site has been here for a long time, and this has probably been said before a million times, but I get the feeling that the people here are the only people that will actually understand it. My parents have never understood, and I've tried to tell my friends, but it just draws a blank...

"Why are all the good-looking guys gay?" A rhetorical question a female classmate raised to another female classmate, right in front of me, right after I failed to identify one of her advances (I think). Yes, the usual NT assumption that if you don't respond when they think a girl is hitting on you...

My depression has always destroyed me far more than my Aspergers ever has, and it would be best to try and get professional help (says the person who never got it herself).... However, this is just a matter of opinion, but I wouldn't recommend anti-depressants, you're obviously an intellectual, as y...

I've never been in to the whole attracting thing, but that's 'cos I have a preeeeeetty low opinion of myself. And you have to feel attractive in yourself to attract other people, and all that stuff.

I play the keyboard, and I'm in a music college at the minute, and the communication things definetly get in the way a lot, but even though I was scared out of my wits, I did manage to perform at a place called the Shed, in Leicester, and it was the best thing ever... It does take alot of practice t...

It's just a thought that's been going around my head recently. We have these scientists that are investigating the effects and the causes of Aspergers, Autism, and other mental disorders. It's good to know the interesting facts and see if they are indeed relevant to yourself, and it's good that they...
