A formal compliant was filed against me on Friday for not shaking someone's hand. I missed the social cue because the "gesture of handshake" was mixed with the wrong kinds of phrases. I know certain phrases are associated with shaking hands and have learned to do it only when those phrases...

the university i am attending didn't have a major program that fit my obesssion so i had to create one on my own. i am calling it "colonial studies in health and education"

i plan to create this for myself in grad school as well. ( i will resist rambling on about it!)

i think that your chances of success with a woman might depend on the frequency that you see her. trying to pick up strangers or determine appropriate contexts is really hard.

have you ever tried seeking a womanout in a setting that you are familiar with, and one that she regularily frequents?

i don't think sex is the problem, but reification of humans into sexual objects IS problematic. this is where sex is no longer an act between two humans, but an act of one human on someone who has been objectified to the point of of reification. this can happen outside the bounds of what we consider...

i have similar problems at my university. one thing i have done is create a map in my head each day, visualizing exactly where i will be going. my accessibility advisor has found me a quite space that i can go to in between classes so that i don't have that terrible feeling of being stuck in a crowd...
