| It makes my skin hurt when it touches air, clothes, and whatever. It makes it too hard to clean my teeth most nights, even with a carer doing it (an example of how hard stuff is). It makes me fail at pretty much everything "normal". I didn't know there was anything wrong with me before knowing. |

I can never move on; it may be easy for most people, but I'm not like most people in this way. It's like asking me to grow back an amputated arm, and the piece I lost is far greater than a piece of me.
There's nothing left to heal due to how it was taken away from me.

Yep.
When it's all thrown on you, you most likely won't cope at all. One needs to plan for these things with their carers before that happens. |

I hope my nephew never experiences the same. He's already isolated and medicated at six, with the latter just to handle the attempts at changing the former. |

The concern I do have is that I wear the same stuff (unless it's a "special" occasion, then I;ll trot out the Star Wars shirt or similar), i.e., having a few shirts that are all the same. It makes me comfortable. |
