Pacing is my most prevalent stim. My mother use to tell me that I was going to wear out the carpet.

Besides that I mumble to myself, jiggle my leg, wrap and unwrap a rubber band around my left index finger, and listen to the same song over and over again for hours.

A degree can help. Especially if you learn a skill. Though in the current economic climate (at least in America anyway) it doesn't really matter unless you procure a degree in either the medical field or education. Take me for example.
